Privacy Policy
EveryFreeTool ("we", "us", or "our") operates everyfreetool.com (the "Site") and offers free online tools, calculators, utilities, and a paid Pro subscription. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your information.
1. Information We Collect
Information You Provide
- Account information. If you create an account or subscribe to Pro, we collect your email address and authentication tokens necessary to sign you in.
- Payment information. Pro subscription payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full credit card number; Stripe handles all card data directly under PCI-compliant infrastructure. We store only the Stripe customer ID and subscription status.
- Content you create. If you use Pro tools such as Link in Bio, Scheduling Pages, eSign, or Form Builder, we store the content you create (bio pages, booking pages, documents, forms) to make the service work.
- Files you upload. Some tools accept file uploads (images, PDFs, documents, spreadsheets). Wherever possible, files are processed entirely in your browser and never uploaded to our servers. For tools that do require server-side processing, files are processed transiently and deleted immediately after the operation completes.
Information Collected Automatically
- Usage data. We collect standard web analytics (pages visited, referrer, browser type, approximate location derived from IP) via privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate usage and improve the Site. We do not sell this data or use it for targeted advertising.
- Cookies. We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can disable non-essential cookies at any time via your browser settings.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the tools and services on the Site
- Process Pro subscription payments and manage your account
- Respond to support requests and communications from you
- Detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, or security issues
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your data to train AI or machine learning models.
3. Google API Services User Data Policy
EveryFreeTool's use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We only access, use, store, or share Google user data to the extent necessary to provide the user-facing scheduling features. We do not use Google Workspace APIs to develop, improve, or train generalized AI/ML models. We do not transfer this data to third parties for advertising, ad personalization, or any unrelated purpose.
What Google Data We Access
When you connect your Google Calendar to EveryFreeTool's Scheduling tool, we request the minimum scopes necessary to operate the feature:
- https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.readonly — to read your busy time slots so we can show accurate availability to visitors booking meetings on your scheduling page. We read busy-time metadata only; we do not read event titles, descriptions, attendees, or any other event content beyond availability timing.
- https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.events — to create new calendar events on your calendar when a visitor books a meeting through your scheduling page. We only create events that our app authored; we do not modify or delete events created outside EveryFreeTool.
- https://www.googleapis.com/auth/userinfo.email — to identify which Google account you connected, so we can associate your Google Calendar with your EveryFreeTool account.
How We Store and Protect Google Data
- OAuth tokens are stored encrypted in our database and are used only to make authorized API calls on your behalf.
- Busy-time data fetched via
calendar.readonlyis used in real-time to compute availability and is not persistently stored beyond transient caching to prevent excessive API calls. - Calendar events created via
calendar.eventsare owned by your Google Calendar and managed there; we retain only a reference ID to support cancellation and rescheduling flows. - We do not share Google user data with any third party, advertiser, or AI training pipeline.
Revoking Access
You can revoke EveryFreeTool's access to your Google Calendar at any time in two ways:
- From within EveryFreeTool: go to your Scheduling dashboard and click "Disconnect Google Calendar". This deletes stored tokens immediately.
- From Google directly: visit https://myaccount.google.com/permissions, find EveryFreeTool, and click "Remove access".
Revoking access deletes our stored OAuth tokens. Previously created events remain on your calendar and under your control.
4. Data Retention
- Account data is retained as long as you have an active EveryFreeTool account. When you delete your account, we delete your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain it (for example, tax records for payment transactions).
- Uploaded files processed by our tools are deleted immediately after the operation completes. We do not retain uploaded files.
- Analytics data is retained in aggregated form for up to 24 months.
- Google user data (OAuth tokens and derived reference IDs) is retained only while you have an active calendar connection. When you disconnect, all tokens are deleted immediately.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only with:
- Service providers who process data on our behalf under strict confidentiality obligations (e.g., Stripe for payments, Resend for transactional email, Vercel for hosting, Neon for database, Google for OAuth).
- Legal authorities when required by law, subpoena, or court order.
- Successor entities in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice to you.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate information
- Delete your information
- Export your data
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
To exercise any of these rights, email us at support@everyfreetool.com. We respond to requests within 30 days.
7. Children's Privacy
EveryFreeTool is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
8. International Users
EveryFreeTool is operated from the United States. If you are accessing the Site from outside the U.S., please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the U.S. By using the Site, you consent to this transfer.
9. Security
We use industry-standard security practices — HTTPS everywhere, encrypted storage of sensitive tokens, isolated production environments, and regular dependency updates — to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal data, we will notify you without undue delay.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you by email or a Site notice. Continued use of the Site after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
