This free sticker maker turns any photo into a professional die-cut sticker in just a few steps. Upload your image, remove the background, choose a shape and border style, add optional text, and export as a transparent PNG or a printable sticker sheet. Everything runs directly in your browser using the Canvas API — no uploads, no accounts, no watermarks.
The background removal tool uses a color-based flood-fill algorithm. Click anywhere on the background, and all connected pixels that match that color within your tolerance setting are made transparent. The tolerance slider (5-80) controls how aggressively similar colors are included — lower values remove only very close color matches, while higher values cast a wider net. For photos with gradients or complex backgrounds, click multiple areas and then switch to the eraser brush for fine-tuning edges. Three brush sizes (small, medium, large) give you control over precision work.
The signature feature of any sticker is its border — the solid outline that follows the shape of the image. Our tool generates this border by scanning every pixel: for each transparent pixel in the output, it checks whether any non-transparent pixel from the original exists within the border-width distance. If so, that pixel becomes part of the border. This creates a smooth, consistent outline that perfectly traces your subject. Choose from white (classic), black, yellow, red, blue, or pick any custom color. Adjust the width from 5 to 25 pixels.
Before adding the border, you can optionally crop your sticker into a shape: circle, star, heart, hexagon, or cloud. The shape is applied as a clip mask to the canvas, and the border then wraps around the resulting shape. This is great for profile picture stickers, logo badges, or decorative labels.
Add text to your sticker with your choice of 8 fonts, custom color, and adjustable size. The text is rendered with a dark stroke for readability on any background. Position the text by dragging it on the preview canvas. Preview your finished sticker on four backgrounds — transparent checkerboard, dark, light, and wood — to see how it looks in different contexts before exporting.
The sticker sheet mode lets you arrange up to 9 stickers on a US Letter (8.5 x 11 inch) grid with dashed cut lines. Each sticker is automatically scaled to fit its cell. Download the sheet as a single PNG, print it on adhesive sticker paper, and cut along the guides. This is ideal for party favors, product labels, planner stickers, and small business branding.
