What Is the Workout Log?

The Workout Log is a free exercise tracker for logging sets, reps, and weight during gym workouts. Choose from a database of 200+ exercises organized by muscle group, log your sets with one tap, track personal records, and monitor training volume over time. See what you did last workout to drive progressive overload. Session-based with CSV export for permanent records.

How to Log a Workout

Search for an exercise (or browse by muscle group), add sets with weight and reps, mark each set complete. The tool auto-calculates volume, tracks PRs, and shows your previous performance for each exercise. Export as CSV after each workout to build a permanent training log.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many exercises are in the database?

Over 200 exercises covering chest, back, shoulders, legs, arms, core, and cardio — organized by muscle group for easy browsing.

Does it track personal records?

Yes. The tool automatically detects when you set a new personal record (highest weight × reps) and celebrates with a notification. Your PR board shows your best for every exercise.

Can I see what I did last workout?

Yes. When you select an exercise, the tool shows your most recent sets, reps, and weight for that movement — so you know what to beat for progressive overload.

Is my data saved?

Data persists while the tab is open. Export as CSV after each workout to save permanently. Import CSVs to continue tracking.

Does it track cardio?

Yes. Cardio exercises use duration and distance instead of sets/reps/weight. Running, cycling, rowing, and other cardio activities are included.
