Pro Tips

  • Tag consistently. Use tags like "inbound", "referral", or "conference-2025" so you can filter and segment contacts quickly.
  • Import from any spreadsheet. Export your Google Sheets or Excel file as CSV, then use the Import CSV button. Column mapping handles mismatched headers automatically.
  • Set up webhooks. Click the gear icon to configure webhooks. Every contact change fires a POST request, so you can sync with Google Sheets, Slack, or Zapier.
  • Track deal value. Even rough deal values help you prioritize. Sort by value to focus on your highest-potential contacts.
  • Export regularly. Your data lives in the browser. Export a JSON backup weekly so you never lose contacts if you clear your browser data.

What Is a Free Online CRM?

A CRM (Customer Relationship Management) tool helps you organize contacts, track interactions, and manage your sales pipeline. Most CRMs require accounts, subscriptions, and complex setup. This free online CRM runs entirely in your browser with zero signup. Add contacts manually or import a CSV, track deal values and statuses, and export your data whenever you need it.

Whether you're a freelancer tracking clients, a small business owner managing leads, or a sales professional who needs a lightweight contact manager, this tool gives you the essentials without the complexity. Everything is stored in your browser's localStorage, so your data stays private and loads instantly.

How to Use the Free CRM

Add contacts one by one. Click the "+ Add Contact" button and fill in the details. At minimum, provide a first name. You can add email, phone, company, job title, deal value, tags, and notes. Every field is optional except the name.

Import from a spreadsheet. If you already have contacts in Google Sheets, Excel, or another tool, export them as a CSV file. Click "Import CSV" and the tool will detect columns automatically. You can adjust the mapping before importing to make sure everything lands in the right field.

Filter, search, and sort. Use the search bar to find contacts by name, email, or company. Filter by status (Lead, Prospect, Customer, Churned) and sort by name, date added, or deal value. Switch between table and card views depending on your preference.

Use bulk actions for efficiency. Select multiple contacts with checkboxes, then apply tags, change statuses, or delete them in one action. This is especially useful after importing a large list that needs to be segmented.

Set up webhooks for automation. Click the gear icon to configure a webhook URL. Every contact change sends a POST request with the event data as JSON. Connect this to Zapier, Google Sheets, Slack, or any tool that accepts webhooks to build automated workflows.

Who Needs a Free CRM?

Freelancers and solopreneurs who manage a handful of clients don't need Salesforce or HubSpot. They need a simple, fast contact list with deal values and status tracking. This tool fills that gap without requiring an account or credit card.

Sales professionals who want a quick, private workspace for organizing leads before entering them into a team CRM will find the CSV import and export features useful. Import a lead list, clean it up, tag and segment contacts, then export a polished CSV to upload elsewhere.

Small business owners who are just starting to formalize their sales process can use this CRM to build the habit of tracking contacts and deals. When you outgrow it, export your data and migrate to a more full-featured platform with nothing lost.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is my data stored on a server?

No. All your contacts and CRM data are stored in your browser's localStorage. Nothing is ever sent to our servers. This means your data is private by design, but it also means you should export backups regularly. If you clear your browser data, your contacts will be lost unless you've saved an export.

Can I import contacts from a spreadsheet?

Yes. Export your spreadsheet as a CSV file, then click the Import CSV button. The tool detects common column names like First Name, Email, and Company automatically. You can manually adjust the column mapping before importing. There's no limit on the number of contacts you can import.

How do webhooks work?

Click the gear icon in the header to configure a webhook URL. When enabled, every contact create, update, or delete fires a POST request to your URL with the event type and contact data as JSON. You can point this at Zapier, Make, Google Apps Script, or any endpoint that accepts POST requests.

Can multiple people share the same CRM?

Since data lives in localStorage, each browser has its own copy. However, you can use the webhook integration to sync changes to Google Sheets, which multiple people can access. You can also export and import JSON backups to share data between browsers or team members.
